Getting my boat ready for the season this year. I bought a new side scanning fish finder and a new tachometer this winter and need to start installing them. The launch ramp at our local lake (McPhee Res, 2nd largest in Colo) opens tomorrow. I am also going to install 2 downriggers.
The only problem is that irrigation season starts tomorrow too. I have been pruning trees and bushes and cutting down Russian Olive seedlings that came in with last years water and have grown up on the island in my 2acre pond. The water is low enough for ne to walk to it and start cutting. Done with it now. Have to fertilize now and spray some areas with weed killer.

I haven't yet, have to work on a couple of Turkey tags first. One in Montana and then one here close to home.

Just got back from kodiak. Had an amazing time with my grandson. 2 days fishing.
Halibut, cod, rock fish, lingcod were hitting like crazy but weren't in season yet so all had to be released.
Came back with 100lbs in fillets.

We did great Memorial Day weekend and the weekend after.
Small stream and river fishing we averaged 18” rainbows and browns. About 8 fish each in the net all in waders and from the banks. Great time with my step son.
