Greetings to you from Montezuma County. Weather over here typical for monsoon season., lots of scattered showers, rain, lightning and thunder every afternoon. I'll be over at Navaho Res all next week fishing. Report back layer..

Just finished 10 days in the mountains of Colorado scouting elk for friends. I was in my first flash flood with a 2 inch hard rain. The county road was underwater for a 1/2 mile at a time. I got to see one bear and about 300 elk, six ewes on a cliff. Lots of rain and lots of swollen streams. We will go back the end of the month for more scouting and hunting. Deer were scarce, btw.
