Hello all,
I'm excited to be a part of this community. This is the first hunting forum that I have ever joined. I moved to Idaho a couple years ago and had been moving back and forth between Texas and Idaho but only hunting in my home-state of Texas as it was what I am familiar with and have had success. Last year I decided to get my feet wet with the real hunting that exists here in Idaho. MUCH DIFFERENT then Texas to say the least ha. I am looking to increase my knowledge and skills to have more success this year and hopefully to have my wife indulge in my passion as well. I plan to try for an Elk and a Mule Deer this season as I have yet to take either of the species in my hunting career. I was lucky enough to see animals last year but always on land that was private. I look to change my fortunes this year with some better preparation and the knowledge gained from my failures last season!
