South Dakota Archery deer

Hi guys, I've been working in south Dakota quit abit this year and usually have 3 day weekends!
I was planning on purchasing a archery deer tag. I have a buddy that ranches around Isabel, sd, I would like to hunt that area
Does any one no cost for tags?
Non res archery deer?
Non res archery antelope?
Or am I to late to apply for non res tags?
I would appreciate any recommendations!
I would look into this I just don't have much time

Well I figured it out. I applied for the state deer archery tag it cost $285 so not to bad.
Does any one no of any spots you can hunt around Sioux falls, Sd?
Any ideas would be apreciated, thanks every one!

When I have a weekend off I will hunt Isabel.
If I have a day off or afternoon off I will hunt around Sioux falls!
I work in and out of Sioux falls alot.

Sioux Falls is where all the population and hence all the hunters in South Dakota are. Anything close to the city is probably going to busy to overrun. The state does have a great public land access atlas on line. As you can see after examining that, lots of public on the opposite side of the state, that doesn't mean you can't find somewhere good that's out of the way.

Other than that, find some good mulies, get there before sun up and watch where they bed, if the wind is right, put a stalk on them, wait for them to stand up and zip em.

You may already know this, but you won't find any muleys around Souix Falls. Muleys are primarily west of the Missouri in the Dakotas.

You might have a little luck finding private land to bow hunt on, as there is bound to be a farmer around whose family only gun hunts. Your odds of getting permission might increase if you are willing to help out with some farm chores, it has worked for me.

Thanks guys, my plan is to do most of my hunting westriver! Hopefully shoot a nice Muley with my bow, spot and stock no tree stands!
Should be a good year of hunting plan is to go home September 20th and chase some elk in the rut!
Then possibly go back to Montana and hunt rifle season too!
Can't wait.

If you get frustrated, I know an outfitter that hunts westriver about 30 min out of chamberlain on 16,000 acres of private ground and has mule deer in the 150-170 class. Not sure if he has any availability this fall or not.
