chsdaddy Agreed on road hunting with ML. I guess there are guys that also road hunt with a bow. Not certain how that would work. I kind of always thought that ATV and other off road vehicle were more for retrieval and getting to and from. I was amazed by the number of non hunters at some of the camps. One camp had a guy running a chainsaw for 6 straight hours. I could hear and see him via the ridge we were sitting on while we were glassing. I'm guessing that he didn't have a wood collection permit for Cibola NF. It seemed odd that one would like to cause all that noise and racket during a hunt. There were lots of guys camped right beside trick tanks and watering spots that also perplexed me. Why would you camp next to the spot that you may want to hunt at dusk or dawn when animals may be coming in for water. Maybe I shouldn't be so quick to judge? I didn't arrive home with any venison in my truck.
