Just thought I'd share some photos from this year and last year. I didn't have any luck taking a Mule deer on any of my backpack trips, I did however have a blast and we did have a great deal of luck Cutthroat fishing and grouse hunting. We generally eat quite well on our backcountry trips.

The first is of the view from our camp looking across Hourglass lake where we spent six nights last year fishing and looking for mule deer. The next is me with our supper up at Sherman Lakes also last season. Sunrise over Sherman Lakes October 2013. The next lake is unnamed in Kianuko Provincial Park, we call it Cutthroat lake as we always manage to catch supper there. This was October 2014 on a short pack trip hunting elk, mule deer and blue grouse. The final one is of one my favourite areas in the Kianuko to spend mornings still hunting and glassing the meadows. There are some very beautiful places within an hour's drive and a few hours hike from my home.
