Anybody been on or around this area in the fall. Permits are unlimited so I'm curious about general pressure. Also how does the check in process work? If your planning on hunting all week do you need to call each day during business hours?

Are you looking for antelope there? If so do not waste your time. If you are planning on getting a 109 antelope tag, I would not recommend it, but if you insist on getting a 109 tag, I can tell you where you could scratch out a goat if you needed too on public land.

Thanks EBO. I am doing preliminary research on second choice antelope tags and 109 was on my list. Lots left over but I'm sure that's due to the lack of access. I also liked the early season and the even earlier now season. GPS chip arrives tomorrow so that'll help a bunch.

I have hunted a lot of leftover tags for antelope in Wyoming, I try to do it every year. I would never waste time in 109 again, we managed to eeek our goats but it was not the experience you travel to Wyoming for. PM me and I will tell you where we found goats if you still decide to go with 109. I don't mind sharing because I will not be hunting in 109 again.

I would agree with what was said above. I have hunted 109. Much better leftover units out there. Might be a different story if you have private land to hunt, I enjoy public land and leftover tags however.
