Ca. bucks.jpgI figured out how to attach.
In 1st pic the ugly mount on the left is the one I'm talking about, Can't see the side view though that had the flattend tine tip like the one in Mill Creek Sta. the buck rack on far left bottom is the old 4x4 crab pt. buck I mentioned. He had one eyeguard half brike off .

Very nice, thanks for the pictures. Was one of the Taxidermist you hunted with named, "Tom." Tom had a business in Riverside and got railroaded by the fish cops. He ended up loosing his business.

Just wondering, cause Tom showed us where to hunt in the wilderness, he killed some monsters in there. Last time I saw Tom was at a different Taxidermy shop in Riverside, about 3-4 years ago. He looked like crap! he was suffering from Lime decease.

Thanks Muley's . Women always say "why do you have to have so many deer head's " I tell them because I can. It's "my" house.
Then I show them the smaller racks on the rafters in the garage... OH my God ! Why do you shoot animals ? Because...???
I have friend's that their wives won't even let them hang a head on the wall...PW. My ex wife liked them. She had to arrange them though because she was an interior designer. No problemo ! A lot of bucks in D14 have the same antler genetic's.Same gene pool I suppose.

Bigshot,
You are right on. It was Tom E. I used to pack into whitewater with him sometimes. He has done a lot of my mounts. In the one picture, he did the last 3 on the right. Yep, fish cop's screwed him over. I thought he moved to Colorado after. He got lyme disease a long time ago. Back in 80's, unless he got it again. I didn't know he was back from Co. or still in Riverside area. Haven't seen him in 25 yrs. plus. The other taxidermist I hunted with once in Ca. , I never saw him again after. He was a friend of a friend. Shooting at bucks with a 30-30 w/no scope in Whitewater... I called him a few names and told him to stay the f away from me. He told me he hit two deer and couldn't find them. The other Taxidermist in Ca. I only hunted with him in Wy. and Ut..Another lives in Wy. I guess if you hang around their shops enough you end up hunting with them... Heck, you give them enough $$$ !

Muleys and Bigshot,
I took some pics with phone this morning of the 2 D14 bucks antlers to better compare with the Mill Creek mount if you want me to post them.
