Do the CO mountains have much snow yet? I'm coming out to hunt 2nd season mule deer.

We got snow last night here in SW Colorado. Not a lot, but still is pretty cold....in the mid 20's tonight so it should stick around. Hard to say what it will be like in a week. Looks like the northern part of the state got a lot more. Stay tuned.............

Depends on what unit you're hunting. Northern Colorado got some good snow down lower. I'm sure at timberline they got a lot.

It's still 2 weeks until your season. Too hard to predict what you'll have by then. We could get a heat wave, or blizzards.

I'll be hunting Unit 52 northeast of Delta. It's the first time I've hunted private land for mulies and I'm hoping for more bucks to move in before we get there.

Current weather shows nothing but clear skies and warm weather (55-65) until the 14th here in SW Colorado.

1st elk/deer opens Saturday and there is lots of new snow. The La Platas and the San Juans got their first real snow of the season last night and today. Almost an inch of rain here, no snow....too warm so far. Hunters starting to pour into town today in the rain.

Hunting should be good with this new snow.

Rain a good part of the day here in Grand Junction. Snow down to about 8,000' on west slope of Grand Mesa.
