Sitka for Turkeys

Do you think Sitka open country will do well in Kansas for a turkey hunt? Or do you think i need more colors such as realtree?

You'll be good with either......just don't move. I don't care what the camo is they will pick you off.

If you already have Sitka, Run that! You could always move into a blind or put something up like a natural blind to sit behind. I'm buying camo for hunting out west and worked fine here in Kansas for deer last fall!

It might be off but remember you can sit behind something brush or in a blind. Just make sure you covered head to toe. I'm going for the ks opener on the 15th. Will see what happens

I used sitka in an oak woodland inhere in CA and killed a turkey at 15 yards with my bow. You should be fine.

Killed one this morning with my bow. I was wearing Sitka and had HUD mounted to the riser. Stalked him on the edge of pasture just got to go slow and let the decoy do its thing.
