My boy worked hard to figure out his rifle, scope and round that he wanted to be able to use for a variety of game here in South Dakota. He ended up buying a Tikka T3 lite in .308, vortex viper pst 6-24 ffp scope and Hornady 165 grain sst.
The last couple days we have gone out to a new field to shoot longer range. He has sighted in his gun at 200 this summer. Yesterday he started at 250, then 375, then 450. Hopefully the pics go in that order also. His only miss was at 450.
We are using a kestrel for the wind and the shooter app for moa clicks after ranging.
I am very excited for him to have his first chance at a antelope buck and whitetail buck on the next couple months.
