She finally got one!

After many, many miles over the last two seasons my youngest daughter connected this morning. I was leaving it up the her if she even wanted to hunt this year since she hasn't has a shot opportunity the last two season, but she said "I'm not giving up that easy", Atta girl! So she, the wife and I packed a spike camp a couple miles in and hunted from there. We were up and ready before dawn and @ 10:00a.am. or so her opportunity was walking by about 200 yards away. After some cat and mouse he finally gave her a shot, she impressed me there! She shot him over 3 miles from the truck and never once complained about the 12 hours of hiking, hunting and packing. Lindsey first buck, a hard earned trophy! I'm one very proud step dad!
