I'm in the market for a good set of seat covers for my F150. Tons of companies out there and a gob of reviews both positive and negative. I've been looking at Marathon and Headwaters as well as few others. Anyone have any they love? Hate? Pictures would be great. Plenty of stuff on the web but I trust opinions here.

I just got through replacing a set of seat covers on my F250 that were 19 years old. They had been repaired a couple of times and were covered in tape so I decided that it was time. They were Saddleman seat covers and they fit like a glove and felt like they were the stock seat. I would of went back with them but I wanted something more durable so I went with Marathon.

The Marathon is made out of a heavy canvas type material and while they fit nice they are not quite like a glove but close. If you decided to go with them and before you order them figure at least 6 weeks to get them. Also on the dual covers, don't get it but only a single color. The side trim option won't be seen except on the outside of the covers and unless you really want a different color on the side trim I think that it is a waste of money. They attach with long velcro straps and once you get them smoothed out they do not look bad at all. I just went with a solid color.

I have Superhide seatcovers made by Marathon in my Dodge. They are about 9 years old now and are holding up great. The fit is very good since they are made for specific vehicles.
The also clean up wonderfully, if you spill something on them it just puddles up and you just wipe it off. If you get mud or blood on them they it just wipes off with a damp towel.
They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and they are quality.

My concern with marathon is I have found as many negative reviews as positive ones. Wish I could see and feel some different ones in person. I may have to take a trip to find a shop that carries some.

When I bought my new 99 F350 in 1998 I had some custom sheepskins made for it. Paid around 600.00 for them. Took them off when I sold the truck in 2015 and the leather looked like new. They were really comfortable. If I could find someone to make them for my new F350, I'd do it in a minute.

Good timing. I just paid for a set of Marathon seat covers myself but have yet to pick my colors. I'm leaning toward the Kryptek black as I have black leather in my truck now. I would also like to see pics or get people's ideas on colors and/or camo patterns. I personally don't like light colors on black interior or black on tan interiors. Love to hear everyone's thoughts.

I have 360,000 miles on marathon superhides. I have not adjusted them since the day they went on. Fit like a 2nd skin.
I can testify to this. I have not had to make any adjustments or tighten anything since I put them on 9 years ago. They fit very tightly to the seats and don't move at all.

They must of changed then since you purchased the ones that you got. While mine do fit quite nicely I wouldn't say that they fit tight to the seats but more loosely than I would really like. Now the Saddleman seat covers that I originally purchased fit like a second skin and looked like the factory seat they fit so well.

Just received my new Marathon Seat Covers. Like how they look and fit. IMAG0208.jpgIMAG0205.jpgIMAG0200.jpg
Went with the black Kryptek Typhoon pattern. Thought it would look better with my black interior. I think it turned out good and I am happy.
