Season close dates

I apologize if this has been asked recently, but when dose Wyoming set their season closure dates? I applied for Elk tag today, a type 4 cow in unit 107, and would like to know if season closures are similar to past season close dates.

They will have the seasons set sometime before the Resident draw I believe. BuzzH may know the dates the seasons are set by commission. You may be able to call the Cheyenne office and ask them the tentative season dates for your area.

The final season setting commission meeting is in Casper, April 20-21 this year.

As a general rule of thumb, the season ending dates are usually pretty close to the previous year, but don't count on it for sure. Check after the final regulations are adopted to verify.
