SD Muley Success

Harvested 11-6-2016 in Gregory County, SD with the old Ruger#1 .257 Ackley Improved. Hard hunting since the weather didn't cooperate very well, Mid to high 60's.

Well I was thinking either far southwest or far northwest S Dakota.
EHD again? Aren't they still recovering from EHD 5 years ago?

Ya it sucks. Lots of reports of dead deer. Game and Fish is buying back east river and some west river tags.

Yes some areas are still recovering. I think this year was worst, especially on the eastern side of the state. I've never hunted that far west, so good luck

yes the 6th. Gregory County, SD has an early 4 day season and it rejoins the rest of the west river tags the week of thanksgiving

Funny you should say that. typically my father-in-law takes the pictures and they turn out great, but the land owner was the only person there to take pics and we didn't spend much time doing that as you see on the pics. I was inconveniencing him already by asking for help.
