Can I buy two sd over the counter tags for archery? If I want to hunt the black hills mule deer tag can I buy a east river whitetail tag as well?

Yep. You are allowed one statewide tag or one east river tag and one west river tag unless things have changed since I moved. I used to buy one ease and one west every year for archery.

Read the rules on this. Not 100% sure but I do not believe that you can buy a east/west tag if you have a statewide tag.

Yep, either you get a state wide tag or you can get both an east and west river tag. No combining any other tags with the statewide one though.
