Yesterday was the season opener. The first picture is from Thursday the 31st of March when I went to check on the set up. I have been able to hunt a small farm outside of Rapid City, SD the last few years that sits on the creek. The birds roost in the cottonwoods up and down the creek. The larger toms came in after legal shooting light but not enough light to film. I have a couple tags along with my son for this farm so I wanted to take one with the magnus bullhead for the first time. It was much harder to hit a moving head than I anticipated. I was able to get a jake and have him go down on film so that was exciting. The extended video shows how well the avian x decoys do to bring in the turkeys. I went and bought the strutter decoy also to put up next Saturday when my bow tries to take a turkey with his crossbow.

Pretty awesome, one of these days I would like to hunt a turkey. Not sure how or when though. Congrats again, I like how that one would slap or kick and run a few feet. I have known a few humans to do the same thing. Haha
