That one behind the white rocks is cool he has some potential.

I also got some of this guy pics on July 22. Not sure if I want to make the hike back to where he is more than one more time but he looks like he will finish out well.

Hope to make it out to some brand new terrain this weekend.

Yea, he and about 12 others went right below me at 40 yards, based on the mass of his horns at the tips, he still has quite a bit of growing to do. He has a couple kickers and inlines just starting as well... he will go 190+ is my guess, and ill keep his location on my hitlist haha. Heading back out today after work for another 3 day trip into new country. Can't say the views are to bad..

Well after 9 days in the field I turned in my archery buck tag.. Saw it pop up on the list and disappear I made someone's day out there lol!

Spent another 4 since then in other area's. Some basins this year were similar to a normal year or had some deer others had very few to no deer in them. Counted over 40 doe before I saw my first fawn.. That has been crazy to observe. In the 9 days out in terrain I know and travel quickly across I saw 119 bucks. 167 bucks same places last year or there are some numbers there.. Big difference was I found 1 buck for sure as well as the buck above that have the chance at 185"+. It seems or IMO the bucks have 10" - 20" less growth this year due to the winter and from what I saw most of the oldest bucks did not return. Or I was looking for 5 specific deer and found 0. Other hunters, old age, the winter who knows but none of them returned.

Still a few weeks/basins to look over but changing gears and moving mountain ranges while hoping to get lucky on a tag. If not I will be looking for a elk skin to chase around on the opener.

The temperature inversions have made for hard glassing but sure are cool to look at..

Well pry the last pre season update as I guess we all will be hunting soon.

Just a few moose on this last round. Seeing more of these guys each year.

Also a link to video of the larger bull.

I think the moose have pretty much expanded across the entire state now which is really cool. We saw 6 last weekend and one the week before in an area where we had never saw them before.
