How do you keep scope from shifting due to recoil?
Ruger super redhawk. 44 mag with
Leopold 2x scope factory rings and can see where this scope has moved due to recoil.
Checked torque allready

Did you lap the rings before you mounted the scope?

I've heard of people using a piece of tape between the scope and rings to provide some friction when tightened down.

I have a scope on my 7-30 Waters on my TC Contender and never had any problems. I have sheared off a couple of base mounting screws.

There is a pretty good video on Midways site on how to mount scopes.

The factory rings are pretty good.

I'd try the tape trick or a something that would add just a bit of extra friction between the rings and scope.
