My wife wears glasses and cant see distance without them on, however she cant see through a scope while wearing her glasses. Is there any way to fix this with a new scope? Wondering if an adjustable objective or what? Looking for something as she likes shooting and is wanting to hunt with me. Looking for something cheaper then a new wife lol.

I'm not sure why she wouldn't be able to see through the scope with her glasses. So without the glasses she can see through it? Only thing I can think of is get a scope known for lots of eye relief and a generous eye box. I'd suggest a Leupold 3-9x40. And make sure you get it mounted in the proper position on your wife's rifle, and have her focus the eyepiece for her eyes.

I hunted with glasses for years and never did have a problem looking through any of my scopes.

Is the rifle and scope that she is using adjusted for her? I did have a little bit of a problem with aligning my eyes at the correct level and at times I would look over the top of my glasses but once I got the correct scope mounts and everything adjusted I was just fine.

Seems weird to me. I have the same issue as I have to wear glasses to see distance. I would think that if she took the glasses off and adjusted parallax to her eye she shouldn’t have a problem.

It would also help if we knew exactly what her problem is with the scope.

Is it the focus or just can't see through it?

The scope on the rifle she shoots is an older Leopold so we went to sheels and looked at and thru a bunch of scopes needed one with more eye relief and focus ring. Looks like she wants a vx3
