Wife's going on a week long girls trip in Northern California and would like to have a SAT phone for a week or so that has call-in call-out, texting and gps tracking. I have never used one so just wondering if any one has any suggestions.

Look closely because the In-Reach, while great for texting, can't be used for talking.

I have an Iridium Sat phone. Works well. Satelite Phone Store rents them.
