Any one have any experience with this outfit? I'm really considering a drop camp hunt, just to get the better odds. Since NM likes non residents with outfitters much more than they do without, my odds about double, just by getting into the guided pool.

I spent about an hour on the phone with the owner, John, a few days ago, and really liked him, and enjoyed our conversation. Just curious if anyone has any hunting experience with him?

What unit will you be hunting Fink? What game and weapon? Just remember to be legal by using a guide, they have to be with you two days out of your trip. Not sure if this includes setting up camp, etc.

My friend has been talking to them this week about an Elk and Mule Deer hunt. I think he is going fully guided though. Hopefully someone else on here knows or has experience with SJR Outfitters.

I have used them 2 twice for drop camps. Overall good but a little unorganized .
I ended up putting into the outfitter pool, using SJRO. Hopefully, I won't have any issues... But, I pretty much did it for the improved odds. If I draw, I'll be down scouting this summer, and will arrive early for the hunt, and stay the entire season, so an unorganized drop camp won't slow me down too much.
