Rumored fee increases

I've read several times about the possibility of license fee increases coming soon in Wyoming. Apparently they've tried once, and another try is coming in the near future. I'm not interested in a discussion of whether the increases are warranted at this point, just trying to understand how it might affect my plans for a non-resident hunt there in the next few years. Does anyone have any insight into how the process works or what I can expect? In particular, is there a list of what the new fees would be, or is that unknown at this point?

I was thinking about making a visit in 2016, but wondering if it would be better to try to make it happen this year.

Basically start saving some more money for tag fees and they'll probably go up a couple hundred each. The regular priced tags are an absolute bargain at current prices!

There is currently a Bill in the Legislature calling for a 10% increase across the board. It's assumed it will pass this time. We'll see the increase for 2015.

I think that this is one of the versions of the license fee bills that came out of the interim committees last year. As it stands, nothing is on the docket in either the house or senate regarding the game and fish except for a bill modifying the hunter safety requirements.

I could have grabbed the wrong link. There is a new one that was submitted but maybe not out of committee? It was SO-0078
I found it now. This is a bill in the draft / committee process and has yet to be introduced on the floor. There was much resistance last year to the proposed increases and the manner in which they were handled, so it could be tough sledding for any bill of this topic to make much headway in this session.

I see G&F is eliminating some programs, cutting back on others..selling Raffle tickets. Combining some departments. A small license fee increase is most likely in our immediate future. From what I see, G&F looking for ways to save money isn't such a bad thing.

To save everyone time from having to read the bill in the link WB posted, it's a straight across the board 10% increas for resident and NR licenses. Word is still out that it will be tough sledding after everything went down last session, but it appears a good number of resident hunters are behind this bill and will try their best to see that it passes.
