You think the bighorns are getting enough to push the deer lower?
They aren't getting enough to make them migrate, but they're getting enough to make them get up and move around and think about what's coming up in the next couple weeks. It'll be way better hunting than the 80's we had last week.

Thanks for the info guys. I’ll be at ten sleep in about an hour. What’s the best place to eat there? And if anyone is close feel free to come grab a beer with me.

Your not going to have much for options for supper, but the brewery has lots of good after meal options to drink!
Speed goat is a good one.

Ended up eating at the saloon and steakhouse there. Food was great. Place was loaded with hunters and the owner was friendly. In case anyone reads this and will be in ten sleep. On a side note, my first ever hunt for mule deer I would consider a success. Hiked a mile and half in and saw 7 does with no bucks. Got to about 50 yards from the does to see if there was a buck hiding somewhere, but no luck. At least I saw some deer in a heavily pressured unit my first try. Saw some beautiful scenery and found my first elk shed. A damn good morning by my standards. I’ll update with the evening hunt later. You can see one of the does staring at me in the pic. 8C1BB0AC-B7E8-4CB8-B44E-D16BBD1B4DEF.jpeg77773D32-7714-4375-91B5-B52618C0A7EC.jpegAE0362CE-5648-4292-A0CD-F337B977ADF0.jpeg

I also learned real quick what I do and DONT want to pack in with me. The piece that holds my spotter to the tripod also broke. So the spotter is staying in the truck the rest of the trip. My binocs seem to be doing fine where I’m at anyways.
