I was lucky enough to draw a goat tag after 24 years of applying. To say I am stoked would be a gross understatement. I am posting today to ask anyone and everyone that has had this tag or has information on this area to give me a shout. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Areas to camp, best drainage's to access goats without being one, water sources etc. Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your help and insight!

Best of luck on your hunt. Wish I knew the area, I would give you a hand!! Call the local wardens and the local goat biologist. They will give you some good starting points!! Are you going to rifle or archery hunt?? What rifle or bow will you choose? This was my 37th year in a row for sheep and moose and have never drawn. Montana needs to make moose, sheep, and goat once in a lifetime. Give more folks an opportunity to get to hunt one of these amazing animals.

Yeah I definitely agree with the Moose, Goat and Sheep tags. I do know guys who have drawn several of these tags and for multiple species. I will be hunting with a rifle. I have a custom rifle from Gunwerks that I purchased a couple of years ago and its a real shooter. I am taking my bow with me as I have a great friend that is going in with me and he will carry it just in case we get lucky enough to get within range of Carbon Element.....
