I bought a 9-12 inch bipod for my 2017 WY antelope hunt. It made my practice sessions more enjoyable as my shot groups went from 4-6 inches at 250 to 1 inch.

It also made a big diff when I made the 340 yard shot...(fawn)

So, bipod - yes.

Does anybody know of a shooting rest that would attach to the tripod for a spotting scope? I have used the adjustment handle as a shooting rest and sometimes it works great and sometimes it doesnt.

Do a search on Amazon, just looked and there are a few to choose from.

I use the Outdoormans head and their saddle type shooting rest. It's slower to set up than shooting sticks or a bipod, but really steady once it's out. I sometimes also take standard sticks for quicker shots but most of the time I just use my pack if there isn't time to use this. This is my choice if there is time, it's pretty steady.
