Hello, from Northwest Nebraska. I stumbled into this forum yesterday and after looking things over I decided to join up. I have always been a fan of the TV show and I am looking forward to this forum and all that can be learned here. I also belong to a Long Range hunting and a smokeless muzzleloaders forums. I am a retired police officer turned gentleman farmer/rancher. I am very fortunate to live on a ranch and have hunting opportunities right outside my backdoor. I also bow hunt, so once I have the wheat planted in September I spend a lot of time afield. I am also a competitive shooter, now that I have more time to pursue it and my own 550 yard range to practice on. I earned my nickname "rickster", i.e. trickster, prankster and practical joker, so don't take me too seriously. That said I also enjoy writing tongue in cheek short stories about some of my adventures afield.
