Easy now y'all. Take it easy on us that take with a drawl. MO is an awesome state as long as you're in between. If you know what I mean. Lots of public ground with good hunting and fishing. Lots of big whitetails. Trout fishing (close to the White River). Turkey hunting can be awesome. Plenty of nice people to. And there isnt a more remote area than parts of the Ozark Mountains. Kentucky would prolly be another good option.

States with no income tax
• Alaska
• Florida
• Nevada
• South Dakota
• Texas
• Washington
• Wyoming

States that only tax some investment income:
• Tennessee
• New Hampshire

Other states that have both Republican governors and legislatures are realizing that they are losing businesses and economic growth to states with no income tax. So, they're considering lowering or getting rid of their state income tax. Most likely, they'll raise other taxes like sales taxes and property taxes to offset the revenue loss. Other states, like California, have no hope of even thinking like that.

The movement of people and businesses out of CA to WA, OR, AZ, CO, and TX that started many years ago and boosted both real estate prices and liberalism is going to spread as a second wave to UT, ID, MT, and NM. Like it or not, get ready. AK is still too cold and remote for most people.

Southern Louisiana is an option. You can walk around buck naked with a beer in your hand and a gun in the other and it be considered "fitting in". :D
