I have an old Sears & Roebuck .22 single shot model 41-103 that my dad taught us to shoot with. It is missing the bolt and wonder if anyone knows where knows where I might be able to find one. Yea I know it's a cheap gun but thought if it didn't cost to much to fix I would give it to my son.

Had a similar issue, with a different model SS 22, I found one by calling/emailing every large used gun inventory store I knew of within a couple hours drive. After about 18 mo and a follow up every month or so, found a same model gun I bought for the part. If you can figure out who made the gun for Sears, your odds will go up finding a part or donor.

Try cfnparts.com. I am pretty sure it is a Marlin 101 made and branded by Sears & Roebuck.

You may have some luck with Gun Parts Company You can sometimes find inexpensive chain store guns, which you can cannibalize for parts, at the smaller gun shows. You can also place a parts wanted classified on the marlin forum.

I have a single shot Sears & Roebuck 22 that was my first gun. I still have it. Probably killed more things with that gun then all my others put together! I keep it in the house now for shooting pigeons off the barn roof with CB's!

Does it say who made it for Sears? Mine is a J C Higgins.

I would try Numrich (gunpartscorp.com) and I would also keep an eye on gun broker and ebay. You never know what will show up on them.

It does say Sears Roebuck on the barrel, but I will look further maybe take the stock off and look there.

Thanks

You won't believe this, but one just sold on (of all places) the CMP Forum. It had already been sold when I saw the ad. At least this will give you an idea on price. Looked real good in the photo attached to the ad. Sorry, I did not see it sooner.

JC Higgins Mod 41, in .22. Made for and marked Sears Roebuck And Co. Condition is ok. Should clean up a bit. I have never shot this one. To operate you work the bolt to load, then pull back on the striker to cock. Asking $50 plus $15 shipping.
