Being from southern NV I was surprised to see just how much runoff there is this year in the Reno area. On the eastern side of Fallon where the Newlands Irrigation Project is has water covering the entire valley on each side of hiway 95 as far as the eye can see. I have not seen water like that, ever. Also in over 30 years of driving past Walker Lake this is the first time we have seen water actually going into the lake from the Walker River, it is running pretty good right now.
There is an amazing amount of snow still in the mountains around Tahoe.
Hopefully this will lead to good antler growth and good waterfowl hunting in the fall for those in the area.
Maybe this is a downturn of this very long drought we have been enduring.

Yeah it is crazy, the river is raging downtown, all of the sierra lakes are full to the brim, and the North Valley's of town are still under water. Hope it leads to good horn growth and an epic chukar hatch!

The water table is way high and like already said everything is full. The deer will be scattered this year with all the seeps bubbling up water and all the dry holes are full. Horns will be outstanding this year with all the feed and water.
