I've researched release catches, metal and string. I'm not comfortable with the metal ones, seems they have issues.
The string loops seem OK.
My problem has always been the alignment of my peep sight. I currently use the surgical tubing...but I'd like to get away from it. Without it the string loop doesn't align the peep very well. My thoughts were that the metal loop would help me get away from the tubing.
If anyone has a suggestion for a metal loop, I'd be interested in your opinion. Are they noisy? Do the cause the string to slap forward to much? Is there one made of a durable material that isn't metallic?
Thanks in advance.
