The biggest thing is to store food and trash a ways away from camp and keep anything that smells like food away from camp. Lots of ppl camp in grizz country and very few ever get eaten. I dont know that country so I dont know how much of an advantage packing in and camping would be in that area.

I will let you know some tips in a few weeks. I will be hunting bear in Grizz country in MT coming up here, and I intend to learn as much as I can about Grizz fieldcraft from a couple of guys who live in grizz country and are really smart about it.
That would be great thanks! I think I could out run the other guys, so I might be OK.lol!

Keep your food, toiletry, deodorant, and anything that has any smell to it far away from your camp. Do not cook in your camp or the cloths you wear to sleep.

It is best to travel in groups of three, but 2 men with weapons and bear spray should be more than fine. Common sense goes a long ways in grizz country.

If I hunted F I would plan to backpack in, but also plan to hunt from a base camp as well.

Probably a good idea. Deer points dont seem to be worth much in WY these days and you should be able to hunt H every other year.
