sorry, I hadn't read the posts on page 2 !
Here's the thing I've noticed, maybe others have too - When a company like Leupold sets the bar so high it becomes the industry standard other companies must follow suit or suffer the consequences business wise - Vortex is one company that comes to mind immediately - On "another" forum I keep reading how "their warranty is the best in the business, they're eating Leupold alive" and quite a few comments along that same type of story line, then ...... it goes silent for awhile (I'm not saying Vortex isn't good stuff, I wouldn't know from personal experience because if somebody sees or hears that I'm using anything other then Leupold it would be a lie) The days of product loyalty are not "gone" but they have changed drastically but Leupold has not changed, they still run the company, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, just like they always have, the BEST in America
