I wouldn't throw the BT's away yet. If they're modern BT's and they're labeled hunting bullets they are beefier than the old ones. I'd call Nosler and talk to them.
I've been shooting the newer BT's in couple different guns, if were talking about massive meat damage and bad shot placement Bergers come to mind too. The new BT's are fine as several other people have stated shot placement is key!! I've seen some horrible meat damage from TSX's, Accubonds, BT's, Corelokts, VLD's you name it they'll all do it!
