I've been seeing them online. Seems like it works well just seems big to me. I currently go in with Havalon and a small point skinner knife.

I can see how it would be easy to cut your self with it until you become familiar with it. I will check it out this fall I think.

Looks like it worked ok on that little deer. Not sure it would work like that on an elk as thick as they are. But a great tool no doubt.

I have one. I haven't used it yet tho. It looks to me like it would work better on big game then smaller.

They have videos of them skinning elk and it looks to really work well.

It does look like another cool new gadget. I can do the same thing and a lot more with my Buck 112 that is over 35 years old as opposed to the very specialized Razor Raptor which is made for one thing only.
I'm sure I will be in the minority when I say I would have to pass on one of those.

I agree with you. I've got a 4" blade and it takes up way less space and a lot less weight.

I heard a fascinating saying over the radio the other day that said..... "Henry Ford was once asked what people always asked for when he asked what they wanted in a car, the people always responded with.... we just want faster horses.... " when we have something that works we see no need to change it up, but until we do change it up we don't know what we are missing out on. I'm just glad Henry Ford didn't decide to start breeding faster horses.... its worth a go.
