Which one do you guys prefer ?

Something around 200 dollars and I was thinking of a Vortex or Leupold not sure though.

Anything Leupold makes will be great.

I have a Vortex that was given to me that's worked fairly well.

One thing on the Leopold's is their warranty isn't as good on their electronics as it is on their optics.

how does it do in low light?

I don't remember the price point, but just about anything from Sig is going to serve you very well!

I second what Scott said. I’ve been very impressed with the Sig rangefinders, that I have got to play with.

My vote would be for Leica, but they are out of your price range.

At this point in time you might be able to buy a used Sig which is awesome in your price range.

I want to stay away from used because I want to give it to a Disabled Vet.

I can’t remember having any problems in low light but can’t honestly remember using it then.

I have had the vortex 1300 for several years with no complaints.
