Ranch Truck Caps

Anybody have any familiarity with Ranch brand truck caps? To the eye, they appear similar to Leer, but are a little cheaper. Is this a matter of you get what you pay for, or is it the fact that Leer advertises a lot more that pushes the price up? Haven't been able to find many reviews online.

I looked at the Ranch caps but ended up going with Leer. They had a couple of options I wanted that Ranch didn't, specifically the roof rack and side opening windows.

I had one on my last F150, it came on it when I bought it so I didn't go seeking it out. I actually had never heard of the brand until I got the truck and had to look it up. I hunted that truck hard and was always happy with it and never had any issues.

Hard to beat a Leer, I'm on my third cap. Of course three different trucks. The beast option is the removable front window up against the cab for cleaning.$75.00.. My thoughts. I have never seen the Ranch brand though.

Looked briefly but ended up going with an ARE on my tundra.
Ended up looking a lot like the Fusion Series after I customized the order.
Very happy with it.

I agree having the fold down front window is great for cleaning.

I ended up ordering a Leer yesterday afternoon. The Ranch was about $200 cheaper, and the quality seems fine, but like BobT says, I liked the Leer options better--specifically the roof rack offered by Leer was a Thule that locked while Ranch had a brand I wasn't familiar with that didn't lock (but required a special tool to remove which didn't seem as secure). One other good thing about the Ranch is that the front window comes removable standard .

My buddy has an ARE and loves it, I really like the win-doors, especially for dogs, I'm sure Leer has them too.
