Tom T HALL has passed .

one of my all time favorites.

the world was without a doubt brighter for his being here .
I spect he's kicked back with his old dog , looking down on his children and sipping some watermellon wine!!!!!!

That is one sad thing about getting older, all of the great entertainers are passing away and this new crop that they have just can't cut it. There are a few out there that are carrying on with tradition but most have left it behind.

I'll have a toast to Mr. Tom T Hall tonight with some watermelon wine, that is if I can find any. If not I'll toast him anyway with some good bourbon.

Never a country western fan in my youth but he wrote and sang the great.... I Guess I owe it all to Pamala Brown...the soundtrack to many of our younger selves I'm guessing.....
RIP TOM ...... Just took me a while to get there with your music.

A old girlfriend of mine wasn't into country music until I told her to listen to the story that is being told in it. Later she commented that you can actually hear the words to the story that is being told and quite often it helps you understand life. From that point on she was a convert to the old country.
