I was fortunate enough to get to watch this antelope quite a bit in an area I was working this past fall. I don't know ANYTHING about antelope, but have always wanted to harvest one with a bow. I could immediately tell that this guy was the boss and was waaaay wider than any others I saw. What does an animal like this score? I apologize for the picture, it was taken with a cell phone and was as close as I dared stalking without spooking them. Thanks!

As said before width does not figure into score. Another thing to remember unlike other ungulates where size plays a big role in herd dominance. With Pronghorn it's about attitude. I've seen many dominant bucks that where smaller just really pissed off. Any Pronghorn with a bow is a true trophy.

Wide ones always look bigger. If you want to know what features to look for in a good antelope, look at kesand72's avatar. That's a good one. If you spot, stalk and kill an antelope with a bow you've accomplished something.

I could be wrong but I don't believe width has anything to do with score.
You are correct. Up until 1995, width could actually subtract from the score if the width was greater than actual horn length. That rule has been changed but they still reserve the right to judge this on a case by case basis.
