Propane adapter

Anyone use those adapters that allow you to use a 5 gallon bottle rather than the one pounders?

Not sure what you are adapting to, but we use them when we are hunting out of the wall tent. We set up a 5 gal with the mister heater and another with a tree or post that has three outlets. The bottom one connects(w/adapter) to the stove and the top holds a lantern. It works pretty slick really.

I use an adapter hose for the coleman stove I have. Those little bottles are a pain to store enough of them for a long hunt, they're expensive too.

Goto Harbour Freight and they have an adapter you can refill your own 1lbers from a larger tank.

Been doing that for years. Pretty easy too.

I also use the adapter ( HF ) to fill the small propane bottles.... Works good..
