I've shot some, but don't take many pics of them.....my calling and shooting will ramp up toward the end of the month.

But, I do have some successful encounters.

Harvested this awesome lion in Custer State Park in SD back on Feb 7th. Weighed 143lbs and was 7-9 years old. Here's a few pictures. It was a DIY public land hunt!

Went out this weekend for lions. Couldnt get my buddy here with the dogs so went anyway with the calls. Cut a set of day old tracks that came out from under a tree, went to where the lion killed the horse. It drug that horse about 400 yards to where we found it.
The tracks we found at the tree was pretty cool since there was only one set of tracks leaving the tree in the snow so we assume it laid down under the tree when it started to snow to wait out the storm.
Of corse I had just taken out my trail cams before this trip or I would have set them up on the kill.
