When can I start buying points for my son? He will be 8 next month I know he has to be 12 to hunt but can't find out if I can buy him points now or not. Thanks for any help

I burned mine on antelope last year and was thinking by the time I have enough to go back he will be old enough to go also if I could start buying his now. But I will have to wait until he is 11. Maybe we can average out with putting him in the special draw. Or maybe we will hunt a leftover unit the first year or two. Thank you guys

Thanks, its hidden a little. I think you had to go into the purchasing ELS part of the web-site to find the rules. Its one thing they might be able to put somewhere else easier to find in FAQ's or something like that.

It has been a lot harder and a PITA to get questions answered since they quit publishing the prospectus. I still have 5 or 6 of them from previous years, really hated to see them go.

If you buy a point for yourself each year and then you both apply together when he is old enough your points would be averaged between the 2 of you so in a way you can get him 1/2 a point each year until then!
