Dad scores on a cow this morning. I wish I would've gone up with them but im happy he connected. "Never any reason to shoot a moose far from a road". Dads infamous advice. Haha.

It looks like he did it just right, the problem is that you have to drag it off of the road to clean it unless you are like some and will leave a gut pile to notify others that you got one right there.

Enjoy the eating, there is a whole bunch of it right there.

You know I didn't even look that close at the picture but to see the proud hunter standing over his quarry.

But when you can get a animal that size out whole you have done your work.

I'm curious if your dad got sick of waiting for a bull tag and went the cow route? I think this is a great option for guys with points sick of waiting to hunt a bull, and probably tastier!
