Poor boots

I'm usually real good at keeping my boots waxed up. These are Lowa Tibet's and are my summer boots. I decided today was the day for some wax and wow they sucked up the wax. I had to wax them 3 times to get a good coat on them.
My winter boots get waxed a couple times a year. I guess I need to wax the summer ones when I wax the winter ones for now on. Lol

used motor oil. maybe that's why the deer never show. lol.

that is actually what I do with my summer boots though

Nope. They just dried out again. One more and they should be good.

I am looking at making an investment in some better boots and want to know what you think of them. They would be my summer hiking, and early season hunting boots. Any information on them is appreciated.

They are great boots. I've had them since 2006 and are still going strong. Just need to keep them waxed.

Not to jack the thread but lowas are amazing boots.i bought a pair of gtx hunters about 9 years ago. Still going strong. Just sent them to germany for 85 bucks did a total
Recondition. New sole, rubber band, insole laces and reconditioned leather. Im a lowa fan for life!!!

I got them back! They did every thing they said!!! They are like brand new. I cant day enough about lowa. My boot soles were not only out, the rubber band had shrunk so i couldnt even get my feet i to them. They are awesome now!! It took a little bit of time considering they went by ship to europe and were hand rebuilt, they customer service was top notch. They told me about 3 months, and thats about what it took. Well worth the 85 bucks.
