So far I have done 3-4 mile hikes with Spenco PolySorb Cross Trainer Insoles. Two hikes @ 60lbs and one @70lbs. Not a tremendous amount of elevation change maybe 150-180 ft in elevation change. They do require some trimming off the sides and toe areas of the boot as do most insoles to get a good fit. I am pretty optimistic about these insoles so far. They are firmer than the Senergy insoles and they also have a little more arch support with a little bit higher heal. I thought my foot might slide around in the boot a little more than the Senergy insoles but so far that hasn't been a issue at all. To be honest my feet actually felt better at the end of each hike with the Spenco PolySorb Cross Trainer Insoles. I am curious to see how the hold up over time but so far they seem to really feel good in the Lowa boots.

Thanks, I have been going through some of these topics again to find a better insole than the walmart specials I usually use. They aren't quite adequate anymore I think. It will probably be worth it to spend a little more now instead of changing them every couple months or whatever.

The boots I am wearing right now are the Lowa Tibet GTX boots. They are going on three years old and have been great boots. I will get another pair when and if these bite the dust. I had the Senergy Insoles in these boots for the past two years.

Which Lowa's do you have? Checked out the Renegade at the SHOT show, they are on my short list..

I use the Super feet in my Kenetreks and really like them, but it's great to hear about other products that work great also. Thanks

I will keep everyone updated on these insoles. I do a heavy pack hike a week so I will be putting some miles on them for the next few months.

Thanks Mark
I have got synergy's in my Tibets now. Dont have many miles on them yet or with weight. I will be waiting to hear what you think after some more miles compared to the synergy.

Yes, the footwear is designed in a manner to give protection to an individual’s foot from certain damage, sharp particles and varying temperature as well. I like to wear Lacrosse Boot in any situation.

Up to about 30 miles on these insoles with a 70lb pack. So far they have been great still look like new. No hot spots and a little more arch support.
