Out of curiosity, what pants are all of you wearing into the woods? I have to go with the brands that offer tall sizes and I am curious what all of you are using.

I've been using the Sitka Mountain Pants for a couple years now and really like them. Light enough for early season and with the addition of a layer or two, warm enough through the end of October. I have yet to experience any durability issues as well.

I like the Core4 Switchback pant when it's really hot, but it better be dry, not even a dew in the morning, or I get soaked.
I really like the Sitka 90% pant, I've been wearing them for 3-4 years now, they are great. Shed water well, breath well, don't get too hot in them, and I don't get cold, unless it's really cold.

Sitka Timberline and Mountain Pants with the suspenders. I really like the stretchable fabric. It makes them really enjoyable to wear.

I've been using the Sitka Ascent and Dew Point. IMO even though the Dew Point pants are a bit on the noisy side, still money well spent.

Cold weather: Levi's with 15 year old Browning Fleece pants over them. If it really cold I will wear long johns too.
Warm weather: Kings Camo not sure what? or the same Browning fleece pants I wear in cold weather, with shorts under them.
I'm not up to speed on hunting clothes.

You all can laugh, but try them and you'll be sold. Target brand C9 golf pants. Search them. They are $29.99 retail and buy one, get one half off right now. I wear them in a light khaki or slate gray color for high country elk, deer, or bear hunting. For anything down to 20 degrees, these are my go-to's. Merino base layer which I shed mid-morning and these pants are indestructible. 100% polyester - you can jump in a creek at 10:30 AM and be dry by 10:50 AM in the low humidity high country climate of September. Far and away my favorite archery elk hunting pants. For the ultra-lightweight freaks among us, they are feather weight too. 11 ounces for my 32x32's.
(I do have a couple pairs of Core4 pants - both the switchbacks and more insulated version - but they usually stay in the closet).

Im rolling with Sitka 90% pant. Will match that with merino wool base layer and when it gets cold I will throw on my sitka Kelvin pant.

the Kuiu Attacks are my favorite hunting pant, and they are good in a wide variety of weather and conditions.

I'm going to date myself here but I have Winona camo system made many years ago by Bob Fratzke. Tag says 100% acrylic and made in USA. Bob told me that the only problem with them is they never wear out and need replaced. They won't be worn out before me. Also have some Kryptec that I like.

I've got some Kryptek Cadog Shield pants in the older Mountain Mimi Cry pattern on the way that I may try this year. I've normally stuck with Scentlok Savannah but with the research I've done and following of Merino wool, I'm also going to pick up a pair of First Lite pants to try.
im sorry guys but 150 + dollars for a pair of pants is disturbing. i ended up getting some kryptec pants last year and i was very dissapointed. if im going to spend that much money on something it better be bomb proof, wasnt even water proof. sure they were elastic and strechable but im far more comfortable in cheaper gear. core el is by far the best bang for your buck with some left over cash for anything else. i tend to pay more money on my base layer than my outerlayer. some good morreno wool undies are beautifull in thier own way. hell ive even named mine...

kryptek alios pants and the dalibor pants, I'm 6'3" and they fit awesome and love the pants. I love all there gear

Are there any high end pants that aren't camo? If I pay that much for them I want to wear them camping, hiking ect.. I don't like wearing camo when it's not necessary.
Another reason I have not pulled the trigger on any high end pants is they all seem noisy compared to fleece, I like to be silent in the woods.
