Out of curiosity, what pants are all of you wearing into the woods? I have to go with the brands that offer tall sizes and I am curious what all of you are using.
Now were talking! You all can laugh, but try them and you'll be sold. Target brand C9 golf pants. Search them. They are $29.99 retail and buy one, get one half off right now. I wear them in a light khaki or slate gray color for high country elk, deer, or bear hunting. For anything down to 20 degrees, these are my go-to's. Merino base layer which I shed mid-morning and these pants are indestructible. 100% polyester - you can jump in a creek at 10:30 AM and be dry by 10:50 AM in the low humidity high country climate of September. Far and away my favorite archery elk hunting pants. For the ultra-lightweight freaks among us, they are feather weight too. 11 ounces for my 32x32's.
(I do have a couple pairs of Core4 pants - both the switchbacks and more insulated version - but they usually stay in the closet).
