This past issue ,touched base on using goats to help with the packing.Does anybody have the skinny on this ,type of goats ,where to get packs ,cost per animal , I guess in short LOL all the info.

Once read a "packing with llamas or El Pacas" article, that seemed like a nice option.
I think el pacas are known to have better tempers.

Goat breeds most use larger and then it comes down to what color you want. Lol.. alpines and toggenbergs are popular. Saanens and oberhasli also. You can normally pick up wethers around 125 a piece up here. You should be able to find packs by Google. I've seen soft packs and some that resemble sawbucks. Sometimes you luck out and find someone with a wether and all the gear in a package
