Outfitter questions

looking into booking a muledeer rifle hunt in Nebraska with heartland pride outfitters for this upcoming fall, so far they seem like a great outfit from what I've seen read and got from talking to them on the phone. I'm just looking to see if anyone else out there has hunted with them in the past and would like to see what their thoughts were on them!! Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like they are located about an hour east of me. They are kind of on the eastern edge of the mule deer range here in Nebraska. Did they tell you which unit they hunt in? Did they give you any idea of expectations on size or number of deer in their area? Hunting private I assume? Our rifle hunt is only 9 days long so I imagine it would be a 4 day hunt?

2nd what NE69 said. I don't know the outfit personally, just a Nebraska guy with a little NE info.

Our rifle season is during the rut, so that does give you a better chance of seeing bucks on their feet. We don't have a lot of real big mule deer in Nebraska, but if they have private land that they manage right, they might have some good ones. Ask for references, both successful and unsuccessful. If you do the hunt, be able to shoot....the sandhills are wide open country. Good luck!
