A buddy and I are hunting this coming fall on foot in GMU 53 in Colorado for Archery Elk. Looking for any experiences in that unit. I also do some photography, so photogenic locations are a plus!

Lots of cows, lots of cowboys, lots of hunters on horses. Actually gave me a new positive reception for what a good mountain horse can do, or I should say, where they can go. Lots of trails marked and not, imagine seeing horse shoes on all of them.
