Oregon Mt Emily Big Bull tag -

Well the tag gods were good to me for a change.....
I was lucky enough to draw a Mt Emily Rifle Branch Bull Tag.
I have hunted the unit with a bow years ago so I know it pretty well
Looking for some tips on how to hunt it with a rifle.
I will be going alone, or with my father ( He has some serious memory issues)
Willing to hold out for a 350 class bull. I figure this might be our last hunt together.

There are some great elk to hunt there. The rifle season is late, so that'll be different than bow season and wolves are there now. My elk experience there is limited to cow hunts in one small area. But the big bulls I've seen in Nov were close to feed, in small groups and bedded in thick stuff. Good luck.

should be a good hunt for ya,,,bulls will probly be quiet by then,,intercept between feeding and bedding areas
